During the past few weeks we have suffered severe delays in despatching customers orders.

Acorn Direct is a small company with a large catalogue. To be able to list over 4000 titles we have to buy in much of our stock "on demand".

This stock is purchased mainly from STL Wholesale - the largest distributor on sole source accounting for over 60% of Christian Music th the UK.

During October STL installed a new IT system with a claim that downtime of 3/4 days would quickly be reduced to the normal "same day despatch". Sadly we have experienced delays of up to three weeks in receiving stock and even now STL are only despatching orders placed 6 days ago.

With Christmas only a few weeks away we have, with regret, decided to advise customers that December 14 is the "safe" deadline for Chrsitmas deliver.

We very much regret the delays you have been experiencing but these are entirely outside our control.
