2 January 2010 #246
So a very Happy New Year to all our customers. We were very frustrated during the last few weeks of 2009. STL Distribution the largest distributor of Christian music in the UK almost went out of business and Royal Mail seemed to spend more time in the storage business rather than deliveries.
STL was bought out by a Scottish Charitable Trust just a few days before Christmas and we are expecting matters to rapidly improve in the new year. Sadly there were many items unavailable towards the end of 2009 but these should start appearing in stock in the next few weeks.
We were badly let down by Royal Mail when 2 days despatches went completely missing for weeks rather than days and although most items have now arrived we are sad that some customers were disappointed. If you were let down please accept our sincere apologies for the delays and inconvenience.
All the music distributors seem to be shut down between Christmas and New Year and as there are no new titles this week so I have listed a number of titles actually in stock and we have tweeked a pound or two off some of the prices by way of a new year special for example DELIRIOUS HISTORY MAKERS now just £17.99 (while stocks last)
Once again a sincere apology to those affected by the delays and a sincere hope that matters will quickly improve in 2010. A very Happy New Year to you all.
That´s it for this week.
Duncan

NOT ASHAMED - SOUL SURVIVOR
As the country’s largest Christian event for young people, Soul Survivor has acted as midwife for some of the most profound arrivals on the UK – and global – worship scene. From Matt Redman to Tim Hughes and Ben Cantelon, Soul Survivor was where it all began. Now seventeen years in the running, Soul Survivor has grown to accommodate over 25,000 people each year. But the worship is anything but formulaic. This year’s events introduced new worship leaders (a sixteen year old Kiwi and a fifteen year old from Watford included) and established names who have been crafting the church’s soundtrack for years.
